RIVE Private Investment strengthens its teams with five new hires and announces two promotions

Paris, April 30, 2025 – As part of its sustained growth, RIVE Private Investment, an independent European firm specializing in private assets, announces the addition of five new professionals as well as the promotion of two team members. These developments reflect RIVE’s commitment to strengthening its expertise and supporting its growth in transportation assets and energy transition investments.

To support its development, RIVE welcomes five new team members across its various departments:

• Mohamed Azahouani joins the Finance team as a Financial Analyst, leveraging his skills in financial analysis and modeling. Mohamed began his career in financial audit at Ernst & Young Luxembourg, focusing on the analysis of private equity players under LuxGAAP, IFRS, and ISA standards. He is a graduate of Louvain School of Management and the Solvay Brussels School with a major in European and International Business.

• Mariya Barrabé has joined the Investor Relations team, where she plays a central role in communication and investor relations. A graduate of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Panthéon-Assas universities in finance, she brings over six years of experience at Access Capital Partners in investor relations and investment monitoring.

• Tiphaine Calloud has joined the Finance team as an Operational Analyst. Tiphaine has over 10 years of experience in accounting and paralegal activities, with solid expertise in office management, compliance, KYC, and commercial support, notably at CSC Global Financial Markets, where she progressed from Administrative Assistant to Transaction Analyst.

• Shabnam Cathelain has joined the Transportation Assets team as an Investment Manager, contributing to the origination, analysis, and structuring of investments, mainly in the maritime and specialized aviation sectors. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris in finance, Shabnam has eight years of banking experience in asset finance. She spent six years at Société Générale, including four years in Asset Based Finance, working on transportation transactions, after gaining experience in M&A and DCM at CACIB.

• Pauline Gasquet has joined RIVE as Head of Sustainability, bringing her expertise in sustainability and ESG integration into investment strategies and processes. Pauline has six years of experience in sustainability consulting. She began her career as a Process Engineering Engineer at VA Tech Wabag in India, later completing a PhD focused on sustainable water technologies. Before joining RIVE, she contributed to the strategic transformation and environmental value creation of investment funds and their portfolio companies at Ansa Services. Pauline is a graduate of Wageningen University in Water Technologies.

RIVE is also recognizing the commitment and expertise of its team members with two internal promotions:

• Elisa Laurent, a member of the Energy Transition team, has been promoted from Associate to Investment Manager, highlighting her increasing role in the origination, analysis, and execution of investments. Elisa, a graduate of ESCP, has six years of experience in M&A and project finance within the energy transition sector. After working at Mazars, Tevali Partners, and Gottengreen, she joined RIVE’s Energy Transition team in 2023 as an Associate.

• Antoine Sebag, a member of the Transportation Assets team, has been promoted from Investment Manager to Investment Director, reflecting his key role in leading the Transportation Assets team’s investments, particularly in the rail sector. Antoine has more than nine years of experience in asset finance and private equity. A graduate of École des Mines and ESSEC, he began his career in the automotive sector before joining RIVE in 2018, where he leads international asset financing and leasing transactions.
